In the illustrious annals of New York’s East Harlem culinary history, the legacy of the Pellegrino family stands tall. Yet, it's the story behind the scenes that is even more captivating. But we will get to that later. Our original marinara sauce has its roots in he ancestral wisdom and culinary to the skilled hands of great Grandma Paulina Pellegrino.
Out of this four-generation transition rose Pellegrino's — a tribute not just to the name, but to the very soul of the original recipe. It’s the dedication and contributions where the women in our lineage shine brightest, especially the unwavering dedication of my grandmother, Vivian Pellegrino, and my mother, Teresa Pellegrino, whose teachings and inspirations have been my compass in continuing the legacy they so lovingly nurtured.
